A Seniors' Moment returns!Friday, October 15, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM We are pleased to announce the return of our Seniors' Moment lunch program! The last time we gathered was on March 6, 2020! To help us celebrate, we have invited singer John Cronin to lead us in a St Paddy's Day in October sing-a-long. This program is done in partnership with Sharing Abundance, which provides the meals. Your $10 donation helps pay for the ingredients of your delicious restaurant-quality lunch. This week it's a delicious Irish menu featuring beef (vegetarian option is available - indicate your preference when you register). Registration is required, and you will need to bring your BC Vaccine Card. Please call Laura in the church at 604 987-0432 by noon on Wednesday, October 13 to reserve your place. |
Harvest Thanksgiving
Help us decorate the church for the celebration of Harvest Thanksgiving. The church will be open Saturday at 9 AM if you would like to come and help. There is a group using the church at 10, so we have only an hour - please come at 9! Please wear you mask. We are looking for harvest themed decorations such as fresh seasonal produce and flowers. After church, the produce will be given to Sharing Abundance to use in their community meal programs. You may also wish to bring a contribution for Sharing Abundance on Sunday. Canned tuna or salmon for sandwiches and gifts cards for local grocery stores are most welcome. |
