Over 60 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and leaders enjoyed a feast of pancakes with syrop, sausages and ham. The early bird sitting also included several St Agnes members.

The 'men of St Agnes' included Roy Barnes, Ken Lindsay, Eric Bozman, and Ethan from next door. They were assisted by Fr Stephen.

The Vestry of the Parish of St Agnes will meet on Sunday, February 25 in the parish hall following the 10:15 service.

The Vestry reports are currently being assembled and will be available for preview on-line next week. Paper copies will be available at the meeting.

Vestry is an annual meeting which reviews the past year, receives the financial statements and approves a budget, and elects parish officers. If you made a donation and or attented regularly in 2023 (ie more than just a visit), you are encouraged to attend.

If you are curious about serving on Parish Council, please speak with Fr Stephen, or one of our Wardens, Eric Bozman or Philip Morris.  

Bishop John will help us celebrate Scout Sunday on March 3. He will preside and preach at the 10:15 service. The 8 am service will be cancelled this Sunday.

Dave "Mr. Lego" Brear will provide an activity for the younger beavers and cubs.

Following the service, we will enjoy a festive lunch catered by the inimitable Bette Geddes. Please let us know you are planning to come so we can ensure there is enough food. There is a sign up sheet across from the office, or you can call the office at 604 987-0432. A suggested donation of $10 each will be welcome to help cover the cost.
