The Lions Gate Brass will play a selection of sacred and popular songs with a Remembrance Day theme. 

Admission by donation: proceeds will be forwarded to the PWRDF for humanitarian relief in war zones around the world.

Your suggested minimum donation of $15 is appreciated.

You are invited to create an Advent wreath to take home to celebrate the season.  The event will occur on Sunday November 24 after the 10:15 service. 

Barb and Ian will provide the terra cotta bases for the candles as well as the greens and decorations.  Anyone who would like to assemble one is welcome to sign up on the sheet outside the office on or before November 17 in order that all necessary supplies can be obtained.  You are welcome to bring additional greens and ornaments.

Beginning with the first Sunday of Advent, the lighting of a candle on the wreath can be accompanied by a Bible reading, devotional time and prayers.  

We hope this is special for you to celebrate this season of joy and hope.

Join Bishop John Stephens for this four-part Advent series looking at Celtic theology as offered by several Celtic saints.  Into this mix will be added some scientific thought and study, Celtic prayers, and life experience.  This will all be tied to the Season of Advent as we make time to prepare for the coming of Christ.  

Dates: Tuesday evenings from Nov. 26 to December 17  

Time: 7pm to 8:15pm  This series is free and is on Zoom.
