As we head into the seasons of Advent and Christmas we have some fun events in store:

Friday, November 21: A Seniors' Moment Lunch featuring guest speaker Alison Hill.

Sunday, November 23: Advent Wreath making with Barbara Sage following the 10:15 service.

Saturday, November 29: The annual Christmas Fair from 10 am - 2 pm.

Friday, December 5: A Seniors' Moment Lunch featuring Fr Stephen on his summer travels, part 2.

Sunday, December 14: Lionsgate Brass Christmas Concert at 1 pm.

Friday, December 19: A Seniors' Moment Christmas Party, featuring catering by Bette Geddes.

Sunday, December 21: Christmas Memories - music, stories and sing-a-long at 2 pm.

Wednesday, December 24: Christmas Eve Service at 4 pm.

Thursday, December 25: Christmas Day service at 10:15 am.

Two new heat pumps for our new hybrid HVAC system for the parish hall were installed this week. These join the one in the middle  installed last summer for the daycare. These work with new high efficiency gas furnaces to provide cool air in the daycare and hall for the summer months and warmth for the winter.

This system will also greatly reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.

The Diocese makes capital grants available to parishes for half the cost. The other half is paid for from our CTF building fund.

Thanks to NOVA, our local contractor for working carefully around the daycare and keeping the landscaping tidy!
