The Long, Long Night of Hope - Our Tenth Year

The Long, Long Night of Hope - Our Tenth Year

St John the Evangelist invites your support - Saturday, February 28, 2026

LLNOH is Back for Our 10th Year!

Raising Awareness of Hidden Homelessness in our Community While Raising Funds for the Lookout Shelter

February 28, 2026, participants will be gathering at St. John's Anglican Church for the big night, the actual Long, Long Night of Hope. They will be sleeping in their cars, or sleeping on the floor of the church, taking shelter from the winter weather just like hundreds of unhoused people do every night. They will be cold and uncomfortable, that is certain. Past participants have called in "the most fulfilling sleepless night" of their lives.

You can register now and join us!

  • Registration is quick, and gives you a personal fundraising site.
  • Fundraising it easy - you just share your personal fundraising site with everyone you know, by email or text, on Instagram or Facebook - maybe even start a Tiktok series!
  • Decide where you will sleep: in your car, or on the floor of the church, or somewhere else.

There is no age limit - we have had participants as young as 7 all the way up to octogenarians! We do ask that anyone under 16 years old is accompanied by a responsible adult.

If you have questions, reach out to our coordinator, Donna: longlongnightofhope@gmail.com

Homelessness is not Hopelessness. Be the Hope.
