Oops - An earlier version of this week's newsletter was sent out in error on Tuesday. The information was all correct, just incomplete!

Another oops - Last week the Zoom link for the Sunday 10:15 AM service was hard to find. I have corrected that problem and the link in this e-newsletter is easier to use.

By the way, the meeting ID for the 10:15 service will be the same until the end of the year. It is 950 6189 5353 and you can enter the number in your Zoom app to access the service.

It's always a good idea to click on the Zoom link shortly after 10AM so that if you encounter a problem we can get you online. You can call Shannon at 604 980-5092, but she gets busy once the service starts!

A HUMONGOUS thank you to everyone who has sent funds and pledges for the sponsorship of Sarah. In less than two weeks we have reached our goal and we have enough money for her sponsorship. AMAZING! 

If you were planning to give money and have not yet had a chance, have no fear! Your funds will be put to excellent use. We already have fundraising started for Chance, Lidine, and Julie, now waiting in Uganda. We have already raised $10,000 for their sponsorship. Local family members, who do not have "extra" money, have pledged to find the remaining $10,000. The family will make sure there is enough, but the money we can raise will reduce the financial pressure on this hard working family. They have already had other family members die in the camp, so they are determined to get these women to safety.

This year will be different and we do not know for sure how it will all pan out.
We discussed a wine basket for the raffle. It will have certificates for wine in it but anything else you think would be wine related would be wonderful like coasters, wine glasses, wine sayings, recipes with wine, bottle opener. I have a cheese board to put in it so anything cheese that does not go bad is welcome.

Baskets or attractive containers to be used as holders.

Spa type things like lotions, eye masks, shower gels, foot lotions, nail polish,and lip gloss, sponge balls (?) and things that might be in a pamper me type basket.

Wrapped candies

Individually wrapped tea bags

Hot chocolate and coffee individually wrapped packets.

Chocolate in any form.

Liners for baskets in the form of Tea towels or dish cloths ,scarves, etc

New books,

cups and mugs for mini basket gifts for teachers etc.

Treasures you have that might make a basket attractive.

New candles

I will know more as I start the process.

I am happy to pick up your items if you can leave them out for me somewhere.
