ODNW InvestitureTwo from St Agnes to be recognized tomorrow Every two years the Diocese of New Westminter honours and gives special recognition to lay members who have given outstanding service over a significant period of time in their volunteer ministry. Parish nominees join with the Archbishop's nominees to be inducted as members of the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster. The Investiture Service takes places every other year. This year, our parish nominee is Judy Brear. Judy has been an active member of St Agnes for several decades and has served as a Sundauy School teacher, Warden, Synod delegate, and faithful volunteer. Shannon Muir was nominated by Archbishop Melissa Skelton in recognition of her work as chair of the Diocesan Refugee Unit. We are very proud of both Judy and Shannon! The Service of Investiture takes place this Saturday, November 3rd at 10:30am at The Massey Theatre in New Westminster. For more infomation visit:
