St Agnes Day, January 20Guest preacher The Reverend Michael Batten will be our guest preacher at both services and will reflect on his recent trip to Rome where he visited the church dedicated to St Agnes of Rome, our patron saint. Following the 10:15 am service we will enjoy a festive cake dedicated to St Agnes. Hope to see you this Sunday! |
Discerning God's call for St Agnes's ChurchSaturday, January 19, 9 am - 1 pm Our Parish Council and others will meet to focus on our parish's vocation, vision and mission. The meeting is open to all who are interested in helping us discern what God intends for our church community. Lunch will be pot luck, so if you come please bring something to share.

Pet Blessing service on February 3 at 10:15 amAn annual event in our parish hall Many churches like to celebrate St Francis Day in October with a pet blessing ceremony. We like to do ours on the first Sunday in February. Bring your household animal - dog, cat, bird, turtle, or hamster! Dogs come on leashes and other animals in their cages. Archbishop Melissa's VisitFebruary 10 Archbishop Melissa Skelton will make her forth annual visit to St Agnes on February 10. She will attend both the 8 am and 10:15 services, as well as our between services Bible study. Following the 10:15 service we will have a casual luncheon with the Archbishop in the hall. Following the lunch the Parish Council will have a brief meeting with her to give her an update on the community discernment work we did on January 19. All are welcome.
