Maundy Thursday service

Maundy Thursday service

Today at 4 PM

At his last supper with his friends before his death, Jesus did two important things.

First, he washed the feet of his followers as a way of modeling humble servanthood.

Next, he gave us the instruction to remember him by sharing bread and wine, his body and blood, given in love for us.

On Maundy Thursday we commemorate these two acts of Jesus. Please join us in the church at 4 pm.

A Seniors' Moment Lunch

A Seniors' Moment Lunch

Friday, April 5, 2024

Our popular Seniors' Moment Lunch program features great food, conversation and an engaging presentation. Past guest presenters have included local historians, nature lovers, and musicians.

This week our guest is Annwen Loverin, Executive Director of  Silver Harbour Centre. She will share news about the wide variety of programs for seniors offered at Silver Harbour.

Doors open at 11:30 am and lunch is served shortly after noon. The presentation begins at about 12:30 and lasts between 30 and 40 minutes. We wrap up by 1:15.

Kindly register by noon on Wednesday, April 3 by leaving a message at 604 987-0432.  Let us know if you require a vegetarian option.

A suggested minimum donation of $10 is gratefully received which covers (most) of the cost of the food. All are welcome!

We are grateful for our program partner, Sharing Abundance, for providing the restraurant-quality food.
