Tea, Flowers and Book SaleThank you! Thanks to everyone who came to our annual Mother's Day Tea event on May 4. The hanging baskets were a big hit and they all were sold. Our book sale replenished the shelves of many a bookworm. The tea with scones, homemade jam and whipped cream were delicious. For more infomation visit:

A Seniors' Moment LunchFriday, May 17, 2024 Our special guests will be the choral group The Londoners. They are back for a return engagement featuring spirited renditions of your favorite show tunes and other songs. Doors open at 11:30 am and lunch is served shortly after noon. The presentation begins at about 12:30 and lasts between 30 and 40 minutes. We wrap up by 1:15. We ask that people register by noon on Wednesday May 15 by leaving a message at 604 987-0432. Let us know if you require a vegetarian option. A suggested minimum donation of $10 is gratefully received which covers (most) of the cost of the food. All are welcome! Mission ConferenceToward a Theology of Land Saturday, May 11 You are invited to one of the largest biannual gatherings of the diocese of New Westminster. The Mission Conference is the key social and learning event held every other year when Synod is not in session. It is open and free to all members of the parishes and not just clergy and synod delegates. Following the 2023 Synod discussions about housing and homelessness, the Mission Conference planners chose as this year's theme: Toward a Theology of Land. Presenters: Richard Leggett, Mari Joerstad, and Katherine Murray are all local, ordained and lay leaders, with rich experience in teaching and reflecting a thoughtful, God-centred understanding of land, as well as walking with churches who are seeking to steward their lands and buildings for God's mission in the world.
